During these difficult times, we wanted to let our friends and supporters know our organisation’s approach to the developing Covid-19 virus crisis.
Our senior trustees and management team have been following government announcements and guidelines closely. In light of the recently announced government guidelines requiring the maintenance of education provision for vulnerable children, we will keep our programmes open, with extra precautions to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Our curricular sessions will run with small groups (maximum 5, including instructors) closely and consistently following the latest health advice, to ensure the least risk of contracting or spreading the Covid-19 virus. We will ensure we maintain the required staff to student ratios and to minimise external contact, collect students from home if required. If any staff or students are showing symptoms, we will direct them to self-isolate as per the latest NHS guidelines.
As always, the safety and wellbeing of students is our primary concern and we will constantly review our procedures, following all new guidance as it is issued, and communicate any changes with our students and their parents / guardians immediately.
We are taking substantive measures to ensure the organisation remains sustainable during the coming months. Any support you may be able to offer, in terms of advice, in kind donations or financial donations, would be very welcome as we face an uncertain few months.
We wish all our friends and supporters safe passage during this trying time.
