Oarsome Chance’s holistic approach blends a range of vocational learning alongside wellbeing support and focuses on individuals, to give students the best chance to achieve.
OC are planning to extend our service delivery into a standalone Post 16 training provision, which we’re calling ‘Oarsome Pathways’. This provision will work with young people aged 16-19 who need intensive support and training to achieve the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to access further education, training and/or employment opportunities.
Oarsome Pathways will act as a ‘bridge’ for young people who require extra, tailored individual support to identify their pathway once they have left school. With NCFE Occupational Studies at the heart for the curriculum, the programme will focus on four areas to ensure the best engagement and outcomes: personal development, vocational training, career pathways and enrichment.
