Purpose of the job
Work directly with young people, helping them to build life skills, develop healthy relationships and make decisions that are right for them. Mentors are often involved in supporting and setting up projects. To ensure safeguarding and support of students. To communicate with families including parents, guardians and carers as required.
Mentor specialism:
- An ability to inspire Oarsome Chance young people by developing sessions around creative activities.
- Experience of using art, craft and / or making to inspire and engage young people.
